Alpha HPA is an ASX-listed company that has licenced a proprietary Australian process for the production of High Purity Alumina (HPA). HPA is a key safety material used in separators within lithium-ion batteries.
The HPA market is set to grow rapidly with China-led growth in the Electronic Vehicle (EV) market.
The Company has just delivered a compelling, sector-leading Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS):
- High production rate of 10,200 tpa HPA
- Annual pre-tax free cash flow (FCF) of A$247m (US$185m)
- Sector leading Project CapEx of A$214.6m (US$161m)
Alpha HPA proposes to design and construct a world-class refinery within the industrial port zone, ideally suited to reagent supply and SE Asian export.
Proposed plant expected to create up to 300 construction phase jobs and 100 permanent operational jobs.
The Project represents a pioneering step in the establishment of an Australian new-technology industry commercialising Australian IP.
Alpha HPA is seeking assistance in funding the Pilot Plant and the development of the HPA First Project.
