It’s no Furphy! Except it is.
Yes, this is the Furphy, as in a tall tale a mate might tell you. The family business is still building tanks, as they did for the Diggers in WWI and for folks earlier than that. They’ve been going for over 150 years, but obviously fabrication looks a lot different to what it was. They’re still in Shepparton, but are relying on robotic welding and global collaborations to stay at the pinnacle of stainless steel tank manufacturing. Bloody inspiring to see a company with so much history adapt to the times.
