I love seafood, industry/research collaboration, and family-owned manufacturers, so I was happy as Larry to visit Southern Canning. SC has been at it since 1991, and are renowned for their cleverness in processing and packaging. Having delicious abalone is one thing, but the Milani family business are always looking to the future. To this end they’re partnering with great researchers at the CSIRO on new processing technology, as well as looking to how they’ll be a part of the circular economy.
