Our Projects
Enhancing Australian Winders manufacturing capabilities

Project description and overview:
Australian Winders is a Perth-based OEM that specialises in the design, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of large electric generator coil components.
This project will see Australian Winders acquire a suite of new capital equipment, significantly enhancing its manufacturing capabilities, both by incorporating new capabilities and by making its current operations considerably more efficient. The equipment will also support expanded Research and Development (R&D) efforts through further vertical integration, enabling Australian Winders to fabricate larger and more complex coil assemblies and to produce a wider range of electric motor components, while also allowing the production of its current range in greater volumes, all of which will enable the company to supply into the burgeoning wind energy sector.
This project will enable Australian Winders to overcome its current capacity limitations and significantly expand its participation in the wind energy supply chain. By increasing production capacity and automating key processes, this project will remove existing bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times. This expansion will not only allow Australian Winders to grow within its existing markets but also create the capacity needed to explore new opportunities, ensuring the company remains competitive and responsive to industry needs.
