Schaffer and Co P/L is the most specialised Industrial Adhesive Tape company in Australia. a third generation family business, Schaffer imports Industrial Adhesive Tape products from over 45 global manufacturers, predominantly in 'jumbo' rolls which are re-wound into 'log' rolls and 'custom slit' in our factory in Braeside Victoria. Schaffer has the largest range of adhesive tapes on shelf in Australia and compliments these with a small range of companion products to ensure that customers achieve performance standards, these include surface cleaners, adhesive surface primers and application pressure rollers. Schaffer and Co run a 'low cost / low overhead' business model employing a small sales team and using Distributors nationally to support and service accounts. Schaffer and Co supply products into most Industrial market segments although we do not offer packaging tape, silver pvc duct tape or any other packaging materials. if you require an industrial adhesive tape for an application we will supply samples and product specifications to ensure we can offer the best product for the application and our technical support is unique in Australia as is our depth of experience within the adhesive tape industry. We are actively engaged in product testing to industry standards on the basis that a business case can demonstrate return on investment with a double sided product recently approved by Toyota Australia and another single sided filmic product currently being tested by UNI NSW to see if it can be proven to destroy corona virus upon contact as two recent examples. Even if we do not currently range a specialised product, we can usually source to specification through our comprehensive global network and often we can get product manufactured specifically to our requirements and our new house wrap sealing tapes are a recent example of this. Self wound and hand-tearable with an adhesive system designed for a minimum of 10 years performance ( tested to an industry standard for us by the manufacturer ) although expected to provide a lasting bond for over 20 years. ( they extended the test even though there was no current standard for this period)
