Thread Apparel was founded in Australia in 2002 as a and uniform supplier and
within a short time it established itself as a major supplier of high quality medical gowns
and apparel to leading Primary Carer, Hospital and Aged care facilities across the Asia

With its headquarters in Melbourne Australia, TA Medical international operations
include Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Greece, Turkey and the Philippines. We're proud
of our position as one of a limited number of local medical gown manufacturers using
the latest ultrasonic fabric welding technology in Melbourne. TA Medical is a subsidiary of Thread
Apparel Australasia which has certification from the Australian Therapeutic
Goods Administration (TGA) and is listed on the ARTG register as a government
approved supplier of Medical Gowns. All our non woven SMS fabrics are AATCC 42 &
AATCC 127 tested to ensure AAMI Level 1/2/3/4 guidelines are met and exceeded.
Our major manufacturing partners in China have current FDA approval for surgical
gowns and all the necessary export licenses needed to ship internationally in larger quantities. Our QC
teams are based in Melbourne, Shenzhen and Jiangsu and run a strenuous checking
system throughout the manufacturing process ensuring our product is of the highest
quality and ready to deliver to Healthcare workers around the globe.
