Australian manufacturing to star at new industry showcase

Australian manufacturing will be the star of a comprehensive new industry showcase. With the theme Where Technology Meets Innovation, the inaugural Australian Manufacturing Week (AMW) will take place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney from 7 to 10 June 2022.

Hosted by the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL), AMW is more than just an exhibition. A week-long celebration of Australian manufacturing, AMW 2022 will enable visitors to network with innovators, share ideas, and be part of the innovative technological evolution that our local industry is experiencing.

“We’re getting very excited about the way the work on AMW has been going,” said Kim Banks (Head of Events at AMTIL). “The response from industry has been incredibly positive, with the exhibition space already fully booked apart from a handful of stands. This is a really big, important new venture for AMTIL, so we’re really thrilled with the enthusiasm for it that we’ve seen out there.”

Exhibition & Events

AMW will occupy more than 9,000 square metres of exhibition space, with more than 140 organisations taking stands to showcase the latest manufacturing technologies, processes and support services. Visitors to AMW 2022 will be able to take advantage of six dedicated zones covering specialised aspects of the modern manufacturing landscape, including:

  • Additive Manufacturing
  • Australian Manufacturers Pavillion
  • Machine Tools and Ancillary Equipment
  • Robotics and Automation
  • Manufacturing Solutions
  • Weld Solutions

The AMW 2022 calendar will also feature several social events.

Australian Manufacturers Pavillion

Sponsored by AMGC, the Australian Manufacturers Pavilion is set to showcase the capabilities of Australia’s advanced manufacturing industry. It will celebrate some of Australia’s most accomplished manufacturers, toolmakers and engineering firms. Just some of the confirmed exhibitors include Marand, AW Bell and Sutton Tools.

If you’re keen to learn more about how to diversify your business across the various stages of the manufacturing process, or how to compete on value (rather than cost), then be sure to stop by the Australian Manufacturers Pavilion. Have a chat to the exhibitors, as well as the AMGC team. Take the opportunity to learn from some of Australia’s most resilient and competitive manufacturers.

Further Information & Registration

While admission is free for trade personnel, registration is encouraged. Registrations will open via the AMW website in late February. For further information, visit: https://australianmanufacturingweek.com.au/
