HalleyAssist

HalleyAssist® is a platform technology combining low cost, reliable sensors with a “Smart Hub” powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). It has been designed for aged and disability care and to be utilised in both home and residential care settings. It is a non-intrusive “virtual companion” that monitors activity and learns behaviours to provide carers of health alerts requiring immediate intervention or significant changes that require care.
The HalleyAssist® technology delivers analysed sensor data in real time to the HalleyAssist® App to be displayed by an activity dashboard. Family and carers can monitor movements, activities and even important data such as room temperatures to see that all is well. HalleyAssist® identifies urgent care needs (such as a fall) and will alert family or health care professionals immediately via push alerts. The system also analyses and alerts carers to longer term behavioural changes such as sleep, physical activity or changes to daily routine that may be early indicators of deterioration in physical or mental health to allow early intervention.
Both family and their elderly loved ones can live more independently in their own home for longer. They and their family have peace of mind that help rapidly when needed. Under the current COVID-19 circumstances, the system can mean that the vulnerable elderly are still well cared for while physical visits are minimised.
