A comprehensive welding, fabrication, machining, fitting and heat treatment shop specialising in medium to heavy engineering manufacturing solutions. Located within BlueScope's perimeter and next to Port Kembla harbour our 50,000 sqm site (i.e. 19,000sqm under roof) and heavy lifting capacity (i.e. up to 100t) ensures we have the ability to service and manage all aspects of projects in house 24/7/365. Our high capacity and modern machine shop contains over 55 individual machines offering small to large turning and milling services. These include an extensive range of CNC machines, horizontal and vertical borers, milling machines and lathes as well as dynamic and static balancing up to 10t and 4m diameter. Working closely with our partners we strip, diagnose, report, repair, replace and assemble mechanical equipment and often make recommendations on increasing equipment life. Our multipurpose fabrication shop allows us to offer small to large custom industrial fabrication. Welding to all codes and with an extensive range of qualified welding processes allows us to complete projects to the highest standards in the most cost effective manner. Additionally, we offer hot riveting, multiple presses including 1,500t and specialise in life extensions to damage and worn components through weld reclamation and hard facing.
