AMGC’s COVID-19 Response Register – Australian manufacturers supporting businesses

The COVID-19 pandemic is shaping how we conduct business right now.

Australian manufacturers and suppliers continue to develop, produce, and supply essential products and novel ways to ensure a COVIDSafe environment for workplaces to function via AMGC’s COVID-19 Manufacturing Response Register.

POD Museum and Art Services has reinvented its business model switching from museum installations to designing, producing, and installing high-quality sneeze guards and point of sale protection for its staff and customers.

After 52 years’ supplying high-quality cleaning and chemical solutions to the aviation industry, Australian-owned Callington has found itself shifting its business focus because of COVID-19. With a presence in nine countries and manufacturing operations in Australia, Callington is ready to support Australian businesses with its range of coronavirus-busting specific solutions.

Family-owned CODE Red Sanitiser in Sydney’s South West – that offers sanitiser on the Register – needed a supply of 50,000 face masks for its staff and customers. It found a supplier of masks, and a logistics provider, via the Register, and in one afternoon solved a business need.

The power of the information and of the connections being made via the COVID-19 Manufacturing Response Register is part of the reason why AMGC, in collaboration with the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, has extended the Register beyond its initial three-month trial.

For businesses that are yet to join, AMGC encourages you to sign up and support other Australian businesses ready to support you. Items available on the Register include, gowns, disinfectant and cleaning supplies, sneeze guards for desks and counter staff, wipes, sprays and thermometers, hand sanitiser stands/stations and bottles with closures.

Businesses already on the Register find it easy to use and it saves them time. Manufacturers are making invaluable contacts and finding new ways to collaborate with the Australian manufacturing industry.
